Dear reader,

Don't you think it is amazing how the Thursday dinner of Klaas can bring everyone together and enrich the community aspect of Minerva? No matter what year, department, or nationality, we got a chance to mix up and learn about each other. There's something special about food sharing. Back when I was a student at Minerva, one of the activities that I loved doing outside school was to cook and eat with friends. I am from Thailand and my friend group here consists of different nationalities, such as Costa Rican, Mexican, Dutch, Serbian, and Finnish. Maybe, part of the reasons that we were able to overcome the differences were from food sharing?

It is not easy to live abroad and I believe that it is also not easy for both Dutch and international students to adjust to many different cultures as well. I aim to influence a better understanding of different cultures and enhance the inclusivity of Minerva. This is why my former teacher and I decided to host a potluck event and create this cookbook. In this cookbook, you will find recipes from many different nationalities made by students from all around the world. Any students and teachers are welcome to write down the recipes and add to this archive. I hope that this book will grow and spread a good understanding of diversity and cultures overtime.

Please feel free to borrow to cookbook!
